Between the heat and the noise, I'm a little groggy this morning.
On a positive note, we had a nice visit with some friends and cousins at Jeff and Leisl's yesterday on Lake Sawyer. Great food and company were enjoyed even though some of their neighbors set off huge "bombs" throughout the day.
Back at our beach many of our neighbors also celebrated the 4th and respectfully shut it down after a few hours.
Temperatures are expected to hit mid 80's to mid 90's all week. High today in the desert expected to be 120.
